Who has influenced your work?: Talking with fellow chilango Humberto Ramos and Mario Guevara have made me grow enormously. The artist I emulate the most would be Olivier Coipel for his organic and intuitive storytelling style.
Creator you would most like to meet (living or deceased): I'd like to share a beer with Olivier and Brian Hitch, and maybe Frank Miller, if he tones down the scary…
What comic or series made you want to get into the biz?: Humberto's run on Spectacular Spiderman. His in-your-face, youthful style made me look at comics from a totally different perspective, that any style can make a great comic book, and so could I.
Who would play you in the movie of your life?: A younger, drunker Colin Farrel.
Favorite Hero: It's a match-up between Solid Snake and Captain America: battle-weary soldiers, different attitudes.
Favorite Villian: The Joker, definitely. We share a similar contempt for those who cling to the illusion of control.
Cake or Pie? Pie. I am also a firm advocate of the concept of Wedding Pie.
